From Mona Awad, the critically acclaimed author of Bunny, comes Rouge, a horror-tinted, gothic fairy tale about a lonely dress shop clerk whose mother's unexpected death sends her down a treacherous path in pursuit of youth and beauty. Can she escape her mother’s fate—and find a connection that is more than skin deep?

Following up on the quirky, gruesome feminist horror novel Motherthing, Ainslie Hogarth’s Normal Women is a darkly comic story about how we value female labour—and don’t— a new mother becomes embroiled in a dangerous mystery when her friend, a controversial entrepreneur, goes missing.

All seats are $15.00, which includes a $5.00 book credit that is valid for purchases with Epic Books during the event. Credit cannot be carried over for future purchases.

Presented in partnership with Epic Books, Playhouse Cinema and Penguin Random House Canada.
